From1972 to 1978 Sauvé creates the installation/performance entitled Environment/Ballet Bird in Paradise, composed of twenty panels of acrylic threads knotted on aluminum tubing, a wall of blue florescent lighting, vinyl ribbons and a variety of short lengths of copper tubing for musical sound effects. Each panel measures 244 cm high by 244 cm wide. This installation was exhibited on the roof of the Galerie Conventum on Sanguinet Street in Montreal in 1974, and it was exhibited in the Maison des Arts La Sauvegarde of Montreal, and then, in 1975, it filled three rooms of the Galerie de la Société des Artistes Professionnels du Québec (SAPQ), and in 1976 it was placed in a field on a farm near Verchères, Quebec, where it was photographed and made into a slide show by Gilles Dempsey of Montreal.
