My recent work is a series of tapestries woven on an electronic loom called a TC2 Jacquard, built in Norway, and invented by weaving teacher, Vibeke Vestby. My model of TC2, shown here in the photo, is equipped with 880 heddles that are individually controlled as in the contemporary Jacquard style. My loom has a mercerized cotton warp, and the shuttles contain a weft of Tencel and bamboo yarns.
